    Type Alias GLSurfacesConfig

    GLSurfacesConfig: KnobConfigOf<
        { [ID in GLSurfacesKnobId]: GLSurfacesKnobValueOf<ID> },
    > & { beforeLayerConfig?: BeforeLayerConfig }

    The surfaces' configuration: each knob of glSurfacesKnobCatalogue at its id's path, all optional, and where the 3D trees go in the layer stack.

    Type Declaration

    • OptionalbeforeLayerConfig?: BeforeLayerConfig

      Where the 3D trees go in the map's layer stack: below the style layer it names, or on top, as a map module's beforeLayerConfig places its layers, on top where the style lacks that layer and under the POIs where it lacks lowest3D. They also go below every layer a module or your app put right under that one, so a route or a place drawn there stays over the trees, whichever was added first. The textures stay right after the layers they texture. Not a knob: it moves layers rather than restyling them.

      'lowestLabel'

    const config: GLSurfacesConfig = {
    surfaces: { water: { glint: { intensity: 0.5 } }, roads: { intensity: 0 } },
    wind: { direction: 270, speedFactor: 2 },
    beforeLayerConfig: 'lowest3D',
    };
