Junction Analytics is served per intersection, so coverage is decided at the level of a single junction rather than a whole market: an intersection is supported when enough traffic data is available to build a junction model for it.

Checking coverage for a junction

Before you create a junction definition, run a Junction definition preview for the location. The preview returns the junction model — the boundary, its approaches, and its exits — that would be created for it.

After a junction definition has been created, its processing state is reported by Junction definition details. Live data is served once the junction reaches the ACTIVE status; an ERROR status is explained by the statusDetail field.

Historical data is available per junction for a limited period. Query it with Junction archive availability.

Requesting coverage details

For a country-level coverage list, or to confirm that the intersections you want to monitor are supported, contact us or reach out to your local partner or TomTom account manager.
