O/D Analysis is based on Floating Car Data (FCD), so the depth of the results for a given area depends on the historical traffic data available for that area and for the dates you select. All version 2 analyses are calculated on TomTom Orbis Maps.

Checking coverage for an area

Use the Available Maps endpoint to retrieve the map versions available for a bounding box before you create an analysis.

Traffic volume, requested through the VOLUME enhanced metric of a Selected Link analysis, has its own prerequisites: it requires traffic volume data to be available for the requested link and date ranges. See Enhanced metrics.
